The Pender Community Hall is located at 4418 Bedwell Harbour Road, at the intersection with Otter Bay Road, which comes from the ferry. The Hall is approximately 3km from the Ferry Terminal at Otter Bay.

Situated in the Strait of Georgia, which lies between the B.C. mainland and Vancouver Island, the Penders can be reached by:

• B.C. Ferries: the islands are 45 minutes from Swartz Bay - a half hours drive north of Victoria - and a 2 hour ride from Tsqwwassen - approxiamately 45 minutes south of Vancouver. The ferries take vehicles and foot passengers. The ferry rides in themselves are beautiful trips through the Gulf Islands.
• Airplane: Several companies have regular routes to Pender originating from Vancouver, Seattle, Victoria and Saltspring Island.
• Private boat: There are three marinas and three public docks on the Penders. A Canadian Customs office is located at Bedwell Harbour.

The international border with the United States runs only 1 km from South Pender; just across the border are the American San Juan Islands.
