Community Hall Fee Structure
Non-Profit rates for Non Profit and Community groups on Pender Island.
One Floor - $15.00 for first 2 hours
Additional hours - $5.00 an hour
Whole day - one floor - $125.00
(Used during the day and materials/equipment stored overnight for use the next day.)
Charges are doubled for use of both floors
Events and Concerts - 4 hours entire hall - $100.00
Rehearsal times 2 hours (entire hall for set up and/or sound checks) - $50.00
Lounge - $15 for first 3 hours
Additional hours - $5.00 an hour
Coffee equipment Rental - $10.00
Private and not Non-Profit Group Rates
One Floor - $30.00 for first 2 hours
Additional Hours - $10.00 an hour

Sound and Lighting Technicians are available to set up, run or strike a show.
They are hired separately from the Hall and if needed we can supply some names for you.
SOCAN Fee- There is a $25 an event charge where any music is being played. www.socan.ca
Kitchen - $75 for all day - or $10.00 an hour
All ticketed events must collect a $1.00 per ticket user fee surcharge which shall be paid to the Hall.
Refundable Security and Damage Deposit - $200 (No alcohol) $300 (Alcohol served)
Hall space is provided clean and ready for use. The renter is responsible to set up chairs, tables, etc. and for take down after event.
Prior arrangement can be made for set up and tear down of the space at a fee of $25 per hour per person.
All garbage must be removed, but we now have garbage removal at $5 a bag.
A reservation fee is 50% of rent is required within 1 week of reserving. If cancellation is given less than 4 weeks before the event, the reservation fee is non refundable. If canceled before the 4 weeks, 50% of the Reservation Fee is non refundable.
Renters are to leave the Hall in the same condition that they found it. Clean up charges (if not cleaned by renter) will be $25 per hour per person cleaning.
There is some room for flexibility and special circumstances i.e. non-profit groups, children's programs, local weekly renters with small user groups, etc. Please email us for more info.
